Girls who are chosen to participate in the program will constitute a model state and will assume the duties of citizens by electing their own city, county and state offi cials. They set up their own city and county governments, conduct court sessions, and pass and enforce city ordi nances. They elect their own stale senators and representa tives, and in their legislature, the girls introduce, debate and pass bills. Padberg is the daughter of Lee and Linda Padberg of Lexington. Payne is the daughter of Les and Phyllis Payne of Heppner. The titles include "Troilus and Cressida," "The Winter's Tale," "The Taming of the Shrew," and "Henry VIII" by Shakespeare as well as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," a 2oth century play and a Marv Peterson chosen as Teacher of the Month Marvin Peterson was cho sen as teacher of the month for February by lone High School students.
