PUBLIC NOTICE A proposed supplemental bud get for fiscal year 1983-84 from general revenue sharing will be held on February 9, 1984 for all interested citizens of Mor row County. The amount of general revenue shxring funds to be discussed is $60,000.00. The meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of discussion of possible use of general revenue sharing funds at the Morrow County Court house, Room 101. The Cardinals ran out to a 6-0 lead and led 16-13 after the first quarter. Randy McCabe scored nine of the Cardinal points. Arlington out-scored lone 12-10 in the second stanza but trailed lone 26-25 at halftime. The Honkers used a 7-10 spurt in the third quarter to take a 41-31 lead. Kelly Gron quist netted eight Honker points in the quarter. Arlington went on to win the game 57-37 by out -scoring lone 16 to 6 in the fourth period. McCabe led the Cardinal scoring attack with 12 points, followed by Craig Hams with nine. Nathan Bittinger, Bryon Holt and Gronquist scored 17, 16 and 14 points respectively for Arlington. lone out-rebounded Arling ton 25-21. Howard Leavitt grabbed six for lone, with Hams and Donnie Doherty pulling down five each. Bit tinger had six for Arlington. At the free throw line the Cards were 9 of 16 for 56 percent. The Honkers shot 42 percent, connecting on 5 of 12 shots. lone made 14 of 37 field goals for 38 percent. Jan. 19. Condon jumped out to a 11-6 lead after the opening stanza. The Demons tripled Ione's point output in the second period and took a 26-11 half time lead. Dustin Padberg and Ken Snider brought lone back in the third quarter with 10 of Ione's 14 points. lone then trailed 34 to 25. The Cards out-scored Con don 12-8 in the fourth quarter, but the Demons held on to win 42-37. Snider led lone with 12 points, followed by Padberg with eight. Mike Miller and Mark Wrin slow scored 13 each for Con don. At the free throw line lone was 5 of 14 for 36 percent. The run com mittee met last Wednesday and Kjirefd to donate the proceeds from the event to help pay the costs of a solar heating system at the Heppner Swimming Tool. The heating system was a project sponsor ed by the Heppner Lions Club. The run, which will begin at 1 p.m., will begin at Heppner Elementary School, loop up and back along the Pilot Rock Highway, finishing at Hep pner City Park. There will be a 3.1 and a 6.2 mile course along the route. Rolling Hills Run T-shirts and certificates will be award ed to all finishers. (See in formation regarding entry fees), Top finishers for each course will also receive trophies and ribbons. Cost to enter the event will be $fi per person if registration is completed by March 16, or $7 after that date.
