The Fillies have an excellent chance to be district champs next year!" said player Anne McLaughlin. "I felt that we had a good volleyball team. To me, being able to work hard as a team and to put out the effort to win is what counts. Condon was serving very hard and the Fillies had to give it everything they had to get it "The season started off well with lots of hard teamwork. That was all dropped as we started playing as individuals. We had a hard time getting started in the games but sometimes we pulled through. Coach Stefani helped us a lot with all her new skills and ideas." said Kelli Bergstrom. "I thought the season could have had a lot better turnout than it did. We needed to end out each game the way we started. We could have had a good record if we would have got it together," said Lana Reid. "The season got off to a great start at the Dufur tour nament. The girls played very well with lots of hustle and good teamwork. "We continued to show promise and improvement and at our first home game defeated Pilot Rock and had our first league win - it felt good. i "Continued hard work in the practice and good teamwork paid off with an exciting match against Umatilla on their home court. We came home with our second league win. "We played our next few matches showing more im provement in skill but lacking in hustle and teamwork. We couldn't seem to get it toge ther. "After losing three in a row we played well and once again beat Pilot Rock and had a league record of 2 2. "Our last two league matches were great and we were playing like we were at the beginning of the league The girls had a great match $22 Reg 28 DON'T WORRY -WE STILL HAVE SEATTLE BLUES' CLASSIC RUFFLE TOP JEANS IN PLAIN DENIM FH5HIQN Mitchell back.
