Thursday, Lexington news Delpha Jones 989-8189 Virginia Peck, Judy Stevens, Ruth McCabe and Delpha Jones from the Rhea Creek extension study group were Pendleton callers on Wednesday at Peace Lutheran Church whfcre they took part in a leaders' training work shop for the next three les sons. Mrs., McCabe also spent Monday and Tuesday in Pen dleton, studying color coordi nation. Nancy Miller from lone was also in attendance. Joyce Buchanan is at home after a stay in a Portland hospital. Joy Cox of Hood River and daughter, Irene Love, of Juneau, Alaska, spent several days at the T.E. Messenger Sr. home. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Zearl Gillespie at Boardman and other relatives and friends in Hermiston. Hilda Yocom returned home Thursday after spending some time in Walla Walla with her mother, Venice Hendrickson, who had her eye surgery. She is now at the home of another daughter, Ann Chick, in Pendleton. I.U.C.C. women to host Fall Cluster Meeting The women of the lone United Church of Christ will host a gathering of women from eight United Church of Chris congregations in Eas tern Oregon at the church on Tuesday, Oct. 12, announced the Rev. Cathy Barker, I.U.C.C. pastor.
