Including Washington, the total production for 1982 is forecast at 17,000 tons. Prune and plum production estimates for Oregon are unchanged from the 30.000 tons estimated August 1. If realized, this production would be equal to the 1981 production. Bartlett pear production in Oregon is still forecast at 76.000 tons, 11 percent less than last year. All other pears are estimated at 1O5.000 tons, 12 percent below the 1981 crop. All pear production for the Pacific Coast is estimated 739,500 tons, 13 percent less than the 1981 crop.
