Last year, and again this year, the workshop Is being held in the Fairground 4 H annex in conjunction with the AAUW nrranged Artifaelory to be held all day this coming Suturday. The gardeners' greens gathering expert Rill Rawlins has collected a fine supply of fresh area greenery. Club President Julia Hill has ar ranged for a sizeable ship ment of fresh, properly-treated holly to arrive via UPS from Coos Bay. Those who plan to take advantage of this annual opportunity and the free instruction and help offered as a community service by the Heppner Garden Club, are asked to bring their own garden clippers with them. They are encouraged to also bring along any heavy wire circles they may have left from former Christmas wreaths. The gardeners will have some wreaths and swags already madeup for sale at the workshop, and they will be tnkintf orders for more of these to be made with decora tions selected by the purcha sers. Portmann added. If unable to attend the meeting, contact Portmann for an appointment. Adventist carolers to begin fund drive As the Christmas season approaches. Seventh-day Ad ventist carolers will begin singing Christmas carols and seeking donations for disaster and relief funds, said a spokesperson. The carolers will be caroling in Heppner on the evenings of December 5.6.12 and 1,1. The fund raising drive is part of the Seventh-day Ad ventist Ingathering Crusade, the spokesperson continued.
