During the eight-week train ing cycle, she was introduced to the typical daily routine that she will experience dur ing her enlistment, and stud ied the personal and profes sional standards traditionally exhibited by Marines. She participated in an active physical conditioning pro gram and gained proficiency in a variety of military skills including close order drill and first aid.
