at the Marine Corps Recruit
Depot, Parris Island. S.C.
During the eight-week train
ing cycle, she was introduced
to the typical daily routine
that she will experience dur
ing her enlistment, and stud
ied the personal and profes
sional standards traditionally
exhibited by Marines.
She participated in an active
physical conditioning pro
gram and gained proficiency
in a variety of military skills
including close order drill and
first aid. Teumwork and
self-discipline were emphasiz
ed throughout the training
cycle.

given that on July 9, 1981, at
1:00 p.m. the Board of
Commissioners of the Port of
Morrow will meet at the City
Council Chambers of the City
of Boardman, 200 Nelson
Square, Boardman, Oregon,
for the purpose of acting upon
an Ordinance authorizing issu
ance by the Port of Morrow,
Oregon of its revenue bonds
for the acquisition of a
leasehold interest in certain
solid waste disposal facilities,
pollution control facilities and
industrial facilities for Idaho
Power Company and authoriz
ing the execution of certain
documents and related mat
ters. Such meeting will be a
public meeting and interested
persons will be given an
opportunity to be heard. A
copy of the ordinance will be
available for inspection at the
office of the Port of Morrow,
