Dedication of MOD-2 slated By MARY ANN CERUIXO A dedication of the Mod-2 wind generators at Goodnoe Hills, Washington has been scheduled for Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m. Morrow County Court re ceived a formal invitation to the ceremony last Wednesday and agreed to attend. The Mod-2 generators, cen tered in Goodnoe Hills near Goldendale, Washington are the biggest windmills in the world, stated Noreen Leary of Bonneville Power, during an AAUW Energy Fair in Hep pner last November. According to Leary, the Mod-2's could become a signif icant source of energy for the northwest in the 1980's. Fair and Rodeo News By DOROTHY ESTBERG No skating will be held on Saturday.
