Dedication of
MOD-2 slated

A dedication of the Mod-2
wind generators at Goodnoe
Hills, Washington has been
scheduled for Friday, May 29
at 10 a.m.
Morrow County Court re
ceived a formal invitation to
the ceremony last Wednesday
and agreed to attend.
The Mod-2 generators, cen
tered in Goodnoe Hills near
Goldendale, Washington are
the biggest windmills in the
world, stated Noreen Leary of
Bonneville Power, during an
AAUW Energy Fair in Hep
pner last November.
According to Leary, the
Mod-2's could become a signif
icant source of energy for the
northwest in the 1980's.

the process for entertainment.
The Ball Corporation has
again sponsored Ball Canning
Jars and Ball Book awards to
be presented to Open Class
and 4-H Food Preservation
winners Community booths
and display spaces are filling

Willow Creek Little League
has been having ball games
almost daily at 6 p.m.. at the
Little League Field The 4-H
will be having a horseshow
and a clinic May 30-31.
The Fair Book is in the
process of being proofread by
the Fair Committee and all
superintendents.
