their parents to the library for

Third grade parents were
treated to oral readings, math
at the board, and short
individual and two person

fourth graders shared oral

their folks.
Not to be left out was the
afternoon recess, which was
followed by a program in the
cafeteria which included sing

elementary band students.
Capping off the afternoon
were cookies, punch, and
coffee, donated by various
mothers, and organized by the
teachers and Mrs. Barb Peter
son. All of the students appeared
to enjoy having their folks
back in the classroom again,
and although most seemed to
weather the cafeteria and
classroom well, the majority
appeared to have opted to skip
recess.
