Death Notice Walter Scott EUGENE - Word has been received here of the death of a former area resident, Walter Scott, Parkside Mobile Vil lage. 3950 Coburg Rt Sp. 83. Eugene, Ore. 97401. Mr. Scott, his wife (the former Mary Saling) and their family formerly lived in Hardman, Heppner and the Stanfield area. A complete obituary will be published next week. SHERIFF'S REPORT The Sheriff's Dept. at the Morrow County Courthouse in Heppner reported the follow ing incidents during the past week. On April 1, Darryl Dick, West Extension Irrigation Dis trict, reported offensive litter ing. A Morrow County Sher iff's deputy responded to the call. On March 30, a grass fire was reported at Wilson and Paul Smith Roads in Board man. The Boardman Fire Dept. responded. On March 29, Ray Voller, Irrigon, reported two calves missing since sometime the previous night. The Sheriff's Dept. responded. Also on March 29, a com plaint was received from Wilson Trailer Park, Irrigon, regarding alleged criminal mischief. The Sheriff's Dept. responded. In another March 29 inci dent, Myron Huston, Heppner, reported being burglarized at his residence. A Heppner Police Dept. officer responded to the call. Officers 4 p.m. 11 1 ' 1 Go for the gold and silver too The lone Extension Club is working hard to make this year's Easter Egg hunt a big success for all the children in the lone area. Kids through fourth grade are invited to come and hunt Saturday, April 18, at 10 a. m. in the lone City Park. There will be special eggs marked with 25 cent entitling the holder to a free quarter from the sponsors, and also a golden and a silver egg will be hidden for each age group. Heppner School reunion Aug. 9 The fourth Heppner School reunion, all classes included, will be held on Sunday. August 9. in Heppner. The bride is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Dewey Murray. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rock, Sr. Both families live in Irrigon. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of chantilly lace, made with a high neck and cathedral train. The bride carried red roses. Verna Vollmer was her maid of honor while her two sisters, Anneli and Ericka. and Tammy Rock, who is a sister to the groom, were her bridesmaids. The best man was Daniel Creamer 1 Ushers were Terry Seel and Jim Sewell. Merrissa Murray was flower girl and Casey Robins was the ring bearer. The young couple spent their honeymoon in Hawaii and have now returned to their home in Irrigon. The groom is a partner in the family business of Irrigon Irrigation. Both the' bride and groom graduated from Riverside High School in Boardman. The bride is employed by Earth Carpet in lone.
