NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT an election will be held March 31. 1981 between the hours of 8 : 00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The purpose of the election is to submit a tax levy to the voters for the purpose of funding the school district operating budget for the 1981-82 school year. There were 49 buyers and 60 consignors representing six counties at Thursday's market. Market Trend: The market was up on all classes of cattle, with some top quality consignments selling. The quality of calves was a strong factor in the increase shown in the market price. Steers were selling higher than we've seen them for some time. Heifers showed a difference of $10.00 -$12.00 less than the steers of the same weight. Next Sale: With 300 head of top quality calves, mostly black baldys, consigned for the Thursday, March 12 sale, it should be another strong market.
