Glenna snys the shop will be offering hair styling for men and women, as well as cuts, jhthis, conditioning, coloring and blow drying. The new shop will be holding a grand opening for two weeks. Water hearings scheduled The Water I'oliev Review Board will hold a series of public hearings to consider modification of the Water Resources program for seve ral drainage basins in the stale The Board is considering changes in water use pro grams for the North Coast, John Day. Grande Honde. l-'matilla, Mid-Coast. Hogue, Hood, Deschutes, South Coast and I'owder Basins to facili tate development of hydr power and expedite process ing of applications. Testimony Will iilso be received on the Board's reconsideration of the power development classifi cation on rivers designated as Stale Scenic Waterways in the Lower Deschutes, John Day, Urande Honde, Uogue and Malheur wyhec Basins. Water Re sources director, issued a reminder that February I is the deadline for loan appica tions to be submitted for funding in the Water Develop ment Loan Program's spring bond sale Sexson said, "Loan applications received after the February 1 deadline will be considered in the next sale, tenatively .scheduled for Nov ember I'tltl " The Water Development, Loan Program provides long term, low interest loans for irrigation and drainage pro jects located in the State of Oregon. The committee, however, did not make any recommen dations lo the school board. The committee also decided to hold off on discussion concerning a proposed district -wide eligibility program, until late January or early February. !
