The game is tentatively scheduled to be played at the Armory. The local all-star team will lay against the West German Junior Olympic team from Langden, West Germany. The German team is composed of girls, 16 21 years of age, who are on a tour of the Pacific Northwest. "Summer Freeze" sets theme for CWC meeting All women are invited to Join in for a pleasant evening as the Heppner Christian Womens Club meets Monday, August 4 at 6:45 in the West of Willow for dessert. The theme is "Summer Free.e" and the evening will begin with a children's style Hhow by Cole's House of Fashion and Gardner's Men's Wear. Umatilla Fair Board to meet The Umatilla County Fair Board will meet Thursday. July 31. at 8:30 p.m. in the office on the fairgrounds following dinner with the Fair Court and their parents. The board will also hold a daily meeting (Wednesday through Friday) during fair at 12:30 p m. in Park Hall. All concessionaire will meet Thursday. More than 53 percent of the respondents said they kept more plants in 1979 than during 1978. On average, Americans kept a total of 21 planters in their homes, up from 10 in 1975.
