Eckman, Ball, Palmer win 3 blue ribbons each at Wranglers final rodeo Playday Morrow County Wranglers hud its final Playday last Sunday and Heather Eckman, Andrea Ball and Anita Palmer won three blue ribbons and teve Hoffman, Angie Ash- O i-ck and Brett Sherer won two events each in their respective age divisions. Eckman won the barrels in 31.57, the innertube race in 24 seconds and the ribbon race in the six-and-under age cate gory. Hoffman won the hat race in lfi.26 and the poles in 37.73. Cherie Papineau was second in the barrels, Hoffman third and Amy Greenup fourth. Papineau was also second in the poles with Greenup third and Holly Eckman fourth. Juson Britt was second in the hat race, Papineau third and Greenup fourth, Papineau received her third second place ribbon in the innertube race with Greenup third and Hoffman fourth. Papineau Hoffman were second in the riblon race and Greenup placed third. In the seven, eight and nine age group, Ashbeck won the flag race in 17.26 and the burrels in 20.92. lone girls win Big Sky meet Kim Pettyjohn won the 100 meter dash in 12.8 seconds and the 200 meters in 26.7 seconds to lead the lone girls track team to the first-place finish in the Big Sky Conference meet. Margaret Doherty was sec ond in both those events and won the 400 meters with a time of 61.7 seconds. Pettyjohn finished fifth in the 400 and Cindy Hill sixth. lone won the meet with 139 teum points with Helix second with 100, Dufur third with 80, Arlington fourth with 46 and Echo last with 38. Van Schoiack was second in the flag race, Craig Angell third and Britt fourth. In the ribbon race, Marc Angell was second, Ted Schwarz-Mike Van Schoiack third and Nancy Bailey-John Steagall fourth. In the 10 to 13 age group, Ball won the poles in 24.29, the ring race in 14.01 and the flag race in 32.02 seconds. Bridgett Greenup won the barrels in 20 19 and Jackie Burres won the ribbon race. Jason Dougherty came in second in the barrels, and Richard Burres and Shane Burres tied for third and fourth. Richard Burres fin ished second in the poles with Dougherty third and Jackie Burres fourth. Dougherty won the second- Lisa Meyers was second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:52. Morter was third and Ann Forwood fourth. Forwood was third in the 300 meter hurdles and Michelle LaRue fifth in the discus. Meyers was third in the 100 hurdles and Morter fourth. Meyers came in second place in the 1500 meters with a time of 6:10 and Forwood was fourth. Doherty came in second place in the long jump and Pettyjohn third. Cindy Hill was third in the javelin.
