The wonderful food and calls of concern, since return ing home have convinced me that there is no place like home. Zella Prindle We wish to thank the staff of Pioneer Memorial Hospital and Dr. Gifford for the kindness and care shown our mother and grandmother, Nellie Mahon. It is truly appreciated. The family of Nellie Mahon Mrs. Ola Ruggles wishes to thank all of the people who have been so thoughtful and sent her cards while she was in the hospital. She is now recuperating from a broken hip in the Ochoco Nursing Home, Prine ville, Oregon, 97754. We wish to express our gratitude to the friends and neighbors who attended the shower in our honor at the lone Grange Hall March 17, and for the many gifts received. Our sincere thanks to the hostesses who arranged this , memorable occasion, to those who contributed pies and served the dessert and for all other gestures of kindness. A very special thanks to our neighbor Charles Davidson, who honored us with a concert and dance music for the occasion provided by mem bers of his famous Rose City Banjoliers of Portland. We are grateful for the happy years spent in this community and the compas sionate concern shown us after losing our home in the fire. Irma L.
