Leading the Fillies' scoring drive was Jackie Mollahan with 16 points. Half of her points were tallied in the third quarter, mostly on fast-break lay-ins made possible on turnovers forced by herself and her teammates. Wendy Meyers brought down six rebounds and Mary Kincaid latched onto five. "The amount of hustling by our girls was outstanding," said the Fillies' Coach Sheri Brock. "Everybody played exceptionally well, the defense was good, and it was one of the better offensive games we've played." Saturday's performance by the Fillies against Condon was not as picture-perfect as Friday's outing, but it was good enough for a win. After a less than exceptional first half, the Fillies' defense turned downright ruthless, allowing Condon only 14 shots Now in Heppner five days a week. And what a welcome we want it to be for you.
