The Senior Site Commit tee will be meeting there at 2:30 p.m., and there will be a Blood Pressure Clinic there at 3 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 17, the Blood Pressure Clinic will be in Heppner at 3:30 p.m. The regular Tuesday 4:30 p.m. dinner will be at the Elks Club. That evening some seniors will be attending the CAP (community action program) board meeting in Pendleton. On Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. the Blood Pressure Clinic will be in lone and will end before the regular 5 p.m. dinner there. The Wednesday dinner in Heppner will be in the basement of the Christian Church at 4:30 p.m. The latest news about the senior buses for the communi ties of District 12 is that they are being returned to the dealer in Portland and that it will be quite some time before the busses are available for use here. Several confiscated deer and elk have been given recently for use by the county senior meals this year by the Oregon State Police and the State Game Commission. Menus for next week's dinner are: Tuesday, beef stew, potatoes and carrots; peach and cnttrmo choose salad; French bread, garlic or plain; rice and raisin custard with topping. Wednesday's dinner will include, tomato juice; turkey loaf with dress ing and gravy; green beans: carrot, apple and raisin salad; bran muffins and peach upside-down cake with topping. Seniors, don't forget to come to the Elks Club on Tuesday and the Christian Church on Wednesday for dinner. BMCC seeks input on winter term offerings Blue Mountain Community College is seeking suggestions from the public for winter term course offerings and schedules for its evening class program. The cutoff date for consid ering comments and suggest ions is Oct. 27.
