The program curriculum consists of 30 hours of class work and 30 hours of clinical experience. A Nursing Assis tant textbook and audio-visual aids are used in conjunction with practical experience. Upon completion of the course and successful passing of an examination, a certificate of completion is awarded to the student. ' . Pioneer Memorial Hospital currently has a class of students nearing completion of the course. Not all of the students, however, will re main to work for the hospital. The hospital has a need for more nursing assistants and will start another class as soon as students are available.
