The Pioneer Memorial Hos
pital Nursing Assistant Train
ing Program has been accre
dited by the State Board of
Nursing, Department of Hu
man Resources' Health Divi
sion. The program curriculum
consists of 30 hours of class
work and 30 hours of clinical
experience. A Nursing Assis
tant textbook and audio-visual
aids are used in conjunction
with practical experience.
Upon completion of the course
and successful passing of an
examination, a certificate of
completion is awarded to the
student. ' .
Pioneer Memorial Hospital
currently has a class of
students nearing completion
of the course. Not all of the
students, however, will re
main to work for the hospital.
The hospital has a need for
more nursing assistants and
will start another class as soon
as students are available.
If you would like to be a
Nursing Assistant, contact the
Director of Nursing Service at
Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
