The meeting started with a pot luck dinner followed by the lecturer's program which was special music by Dale Chick, and a solo by his young daughter, Karen,, accompa nied by Dale. The rest of the program was a round table discussion on insurance problems, with Bar ton Clark, a member of the Grange Mutual Life Board of Directors of Nampa, Berl Akers, agent from lone, and Cecil Jones agent from Lex ington. Plans were tentatively made for a crab supper and card party to be held in March. Akers, the Morrow County deputy, installed the remainder of the officers who were unable to be at the installation in lone. Pomona Grange will meet Saturday in lone. The pro gram has been provided for by the lecturer, Ed Martin, of Willows Grange. Edna Munkers is home after a weeks stay in Pioneer Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. William J. VanWinkle have returned Public property or any par therof to satisfy said execution, inter est, and accruine costs. A variance request by Mary Blettel of Heppner. The variance requested is a change of setback from a side property line to allow con struction of a garage. Loca tion of the property is Town ship 2South, Range 26E.W.M., Section 34, Tax Lot 1100. More commonly known as lot 7 of the Wells Addition located on the Spray-Heppner Hwy. south of Heppner. 2. An informational hearing for review and comment on the draft comprehensive plans for the cities of Heppner, Lexington, lone and Irrigon. Representatives of each city will be present to explain the plans and answer questions. 3. A proposed amendment to the Morrow County Compre hensive Plan. The Amend ment would adopt the recently completed Boardman Com prehensive Plan as a portion of the County Comprehensive Plan, including those areas shown as being within the Urban Growth Boundary. The Holly Rebekah Lodge met Thursday evening for their regular meeting and installation of officers by the District Deputy President, Mary McMurtry, and her Area Students in the Kristi Haguewood earns 4.0 at Pacific University Kristi Lyn Haguewood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Haguewood of Hepp ner, achieved a straight A grade point average during fall term to earn a spot on the honor roll of Pacific Univer sity in Forest Grove. Kinzua Postmaster Virginia Kelso went to Prineville Sunday to visit with her daughter, Sharon Bell and family. Among those Camp Five residents in Heppner Friday and Mrs. David Cheney, Cecil, left last Wednesday for New Zealand as a participant in Oregon State University's ex change program. Cheney is a junior in agricultural engineering at OSU and will work on a sheep ranch during the rest of New Zealand's summer vacation. Fall term in that country's schools starts Feb. 20 when he will attend Lincoln Agricultur al College in Christ Church, New Zealand. Remaining 'down under' for about a year, Cheney plans to return to OSU for two more Public Plaintiff on or about April 6, 1976 in Heppner, Oregon. The team of Wheeler County Archers placed fifth in the team handicap shoot. The team members, all from Kinzua, are Rick t Parrot, Mickey Sharp, John Weaser and Bruce Parrot. Brian Say, Prineville, spent the weekend in Kinzua visiting terms of course work and graduate in 1980. Four gain BMCC honors Included in the honor roll and dean's list for fall term at Blue Mountain Community College were several students from Morrow County. Leslye Jones of Lexington earned honor roll status, reserved for students with a 3.5-4.0 grade point average.
