March 15 was the date chosen for the St. Patrick's card party to be held at the Degree of Honor Hall, at 8 pm. Prizes will be home baked goods. Pearl Brace Funeral services for Pearl Phvllis Brace. 72. were held Saturday, Feb. 15. at the Sweeney Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Brace, who had been a resident of the Eight mile area since 1947. died in Heppner on Feb. 12. 1975. She was born Feb. 16. 1902. in Condon. Oregon, the dau ghter of Isaac and Sclma Orwick. She was united in marriage to Oren Brace on Dec. 14. 1923 in Condon. Oregon. The Rev. Edwin Sikes officiated at the services. Sacred selections. Vance, 53. Heppner. Mr. Vance died at St. Anthony's Hospital. Pendle ton, on Feb. 12. after a short illness. He was born in Lexington, Ore. on July 28. 1921. and had lived in Morrow County most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Heppner American Legion, the Bend Eagles Lodge, and a very active member of (he Heppner. Wranglers. He had been employed as a lineman for Columbia Basin Electric Co, in Heppner since 1959. The Rev. Edwin Cutting officiated at the services. Joe Dohcrty was soloist, accom panied by Kathryn Hoskins at the organ. Pallbearers were Vern Wil son. Jim Prock. Bud Marshall, Bob Duncan. Dan James, Ed .Strulhers. Doyle Key. Bill Gentry.
