Duane Alderman Featured In Pendleton Record 1973 A pastime thai started as hohhy has become the life work of Duane Alderman, Pendleton, He is the son of Mr, and Mrs, Archie Alderman of Heppner. Duane's interest in "buried treasure" began with screening for arrowheads. Now he has a store "Treasure Hunter Supply" at 101 SVV, Kntinrant. He was recently featured in un ad and story by Arnold Ray mond in the Pendleton Record. Duane is married to the former Norma (iuyer of Hepp ner who helps him in his work as well as do their three sons, David, Dennis and Danny. Members are to bring desserts and salads. The Willows Grange called a special meeting Sunday after noon for the purpose of initiat ing the following canidates: Mary. Kathleen, and Peter McElligott, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snider, Barb Palmer, Kevin Gutierrez and Cassandra Chapel. There was a potluck at 6:()0. Vincent of Portland were week end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heimbigner. Recently the TOPS Club met at the home of Mrs. Wayne Hams for the initiation of officers. Mrs. Carmen French made corsages for the officers. OSL' .Mother's Weekend Those attending the Mother's Day weekend in Corvallis were: Mrs. Roland Bergstrom, Mrs. Henry Krebs Jr.. Mrs. James Pettyjohn, Mrs. Dick McElli gott. Mrs. Eddie Gunderson, and Mrs. Lewis Carlson. While ihey were visiting there they attended the Carpenters in concert. Interfraternity sing, in the afternoon they attended a judo tournament, water polo, a track meet, and international folk dancing exhibition, arts and crafts fair which had items to sell.
