of Duane Alderman, Pendleton,
He is the son of Mr, and Mrs,
Archie Alderman of Heppner.
Duane's interest in "buried
treasure" began with screening
for arrowheads. Now he has a
store "Treasure Hunter
Supply" at 101 SVV, Kntinrant.
He was recently featured in un
ad and story by Arnold Ray
mond in the Pendleton Record.
Duane is married to the
former Norma (iuyer of Hepp
ner who helps him in his work as
well as do their three sons,
David, Dennis and Danny. They

Those attending the Mother's
Day weekend in Corvallis were:

and Mrs. Lewis Carlson. While
ihey were visiting there they
attended the Carpenters in
concert. Interfraternity sing, in
the afternoon they attended a
judo tournament, water polo, a
track meet, and international
folk dancing exhibition, arts
and crafts fair which had items
to sell. The rabbit races were
very inleresting. the proceeds
of which went to the childrens
farm home of Corvallis which
