The office building designed for 17 offices has four units rented at this time. Central heating and air conditioning provides summer and winter comfort. The walls are a combination of elm and ash paneling and harvest gold vinyla paper. Beige tweed wall-to-wall carpeting is laid throughout the building. The wood and stone exterior blends with the adjacent build ing of the Inland Empire Bank also built by W.E.Bill Nelson. The handsome sign swings between two rock pedestals. It is of black lamenated redwood with hand routed letters in white enamel. At first the Nelsons had considered calling it "Trafalger square alter the famous square in the heart of London which contains the Nelson monument and other statues. W.E.Nelson moved to Board man about three years ago and has since completed approxi mately $1 million in commer cial and residential structures Riverside Wins Duo With Stanfield The Riversiae nrates won both of their weekend games with Stanfield. Their Friday night game by 61 to 57 and the Saturday night game 59 to 54. Of their Friday night game Coach Enright said. "No one played very good ball. The lose balls went to Stanfield".Late in the game, Riverside played a lot of substitutes. Jerry Zielinski was high point man with 16 and Dave Richards was close behind with 15 Other players scoring were Darrel Pummel 3. Dale Lindell 4. Don Harper 2, Randy Baker 5, Mark Mestith 8. Darrel Frederickson 6, Rob Adams 2. Other seeing action were Carl Wiley. Jerry Donovan. Dan Russell and Warren Key. Saturday Night Riverside did their best scoring during the first half of their Saturday night game with Stanfield, They switched from zone defense to man-to-man during the second half. Dale Lindell did some of the better rebounding and had 9 to his credit. Stanfield had a higher per centage of free throws. Stan field completed 16 out of 23 for 69 percent and the Pirates com pleted 13 of 29 for 46 percent. Pirates scoring were Dave Richards 19, Jerry Zielinski 12, Randy Baker 11, Dale Lindell 9. Darryl Pummel 4. Rob Adams 2 and Daryl Frederickson 2, Mark Mestith 0 and Carl Wilev 0. JVs The JVs won their Saturday night game 54 to 38. Jerry Crowder was high with 14 points. in north Morrow County. A native of Portland, he started his construction there. In 1951. he built the 5th housing addition of 500 houses in Richland. His company has built lots of schools, churches and medical buildings. Nelson Family Mrs. Nelson teaches kinder garten in Irrigon. They have two married children and two at home. Their married son. Bill Nel son is a fireman in Portland. He and his wife have a daughter Janine. Their daughter, Sandra is married to Gary Herauf, Bend and they have two daughters Heidi and Heather.
