Gail Hermann (iail Hermann "I really like lone'' The P72 graduate of FOO is teaching second grade at lone "I really telt prepared to start my teaching". .Miss Hermann did her student teaching in the individualized teaching program at Pendle ton's Lincoln School. Different than many students, she taught by herself for a week What does a young single girl find to do in a town like lone' There are five single girls living in the new apart ment at lone. While each one has her own apartment, they do enjoy getting together often They play volley ball and other PF activities at the Monday and Wednesday adult nights at the lone gym. Hiking and backpacking to the high lakes in the W'allovvas have been a family activity which she continues to enjoy. She is looking forward to learning to ski this winter Sherrie Bahr Sherne Hahr likes music and cats Her apartment companion is "Punkin" an orange and white streak of playfulness. This new music teacher at lone lives music. She's been in baud and choir and plays lots of instruments which include clarinet, s.ix.i phone, French Horn, bassoon and flute but her major instrument is the piano. Her ambition is to sing in the Salt Iike Tabernacle choir. She like lots of things I. ikes team sports, likes to cook and likes to do hand sew ing She is interested in tracing the geneology of her family. After teaching music all day, every Monday night she has a tun session of teaching a guitar calss from fi until 7 She would like to invite everyone to the Christmas concert on Dec. 21. Mrs l.eo Crahlree and Mrs. (iene Fandcaster went to Pendleton on Oct, 25 Mrs Crahlree went to an Avon meeting where she received a sapphire pin for her Avon sales She is working for a diamond pin Of the seventy live that attended, five re ceived sapphire pins, four received the diamond pin and two received a charm brace let The bracelet is the highest award Avon gives. There were thirty-five in the group besides the driver and the escort She visited six Canadian Provinces and nineteen states and Washing ton, D C. She enjoyed many historical sites. While on her trip she visited her nephew and wife in Chicago, John Peterson, niece and family. Mike Lockhart, ski in structor at Anthony Lakes and Sprout Springs will be present during the swap. There will be a movie and a free binding check, according to Donna Bergstrom.
