This doesn't keep her from being her dad's right hand man though. Both her older brothers are in farming op erations at Athena. She helps with all phases of the ranch work. She works with the cows, moves them to summer pasture and back again. Helps her dad separate them, gives shots and helps with the branding. She helps with hay ing and builds fence. In the summer time when she isn't "Courting" she miy be in Lonerock with the cattle or working at the ranch house at North Lex. The Cop pocks are in tiie throes of redecoration and Princess Kerry wields a mean paint roller. From the ladder she very neatly applies an even layer of beautiful celery green paint. Her morn says "She's a good painter". She takes her school work seriously. She is a member of the Honor Society and was secretary of the Drill Team last year and also of Girls League. She is hoping the girls in Heppner High School can do mire things together this year with the combining of the three girls organiza tion. She has hopes that great things will be accomplished this year by this group. She favors short hand and the other secretarial classes and plans to attend BMCC with emphasis in this area. Then of all places wants to go to Wyoming to get a job. Ranching is for her and Wyoming may be just the place to find that handsome rancher when trie time is right. She has a musical flair. She has played flute in the band since she was in the 5th grade. Plays the piano for her own amusement and took les sons from First Grade through her Freshn&n Year.
