Karen is the bridt-elect of Melvin Crow, Pendleton. Potin;s were decorated it. sriiig no wers. The refreshment table was centered with a sheet cake adorned with yellow and white flowers. A crystal punch bowl and silver tea service added to the party atmosphere. As Karen opened gifts she was assisted b her sister Janice and bj Melvin's sis ter. Pouring were Vrs. Crow, Pendleton and Vrs. Edwards, Lexington. Mrs. Wm. J. V an Winkle, Karen's aunt, served the cake. Hostesses for the affair were Vrs. Norman Nelson, Mrs. Joe Yocom, Vrs. Scott McMillan, Mrs. Morris Mc Carl. Mrs. Leonard Munkers and Mrs. Charles C. Jones. NEWXY ELECTED OFFI CERS OF LEXINGTON LEANER TOPS CLUB were installed at the Lexington City Hall on Wd. with Mrs. Char les C. Jones serving as in stalling officer. The out going officers, Mrs. Erda Pieper, Mrs. Harold Huber, Mrs. Florence McMillan, Mrs. Ralph Crum were pre sented hand-made apprecia- ATTENTiON! ALL 4-H LEADERS AND JL'N-OR LEADERS Saturday, April 8th is the date of the Eastern Oregon 4-H Leader's forum. The forum is to be held on the E.O.C. Campus in La Grande from 3:30 a.m. to 3;30 p.m. The program them.- is "4-H Leadership For Action". There will be Workshops on: 1. "Planning a 4-H Club Program f Work", 2. De monstrations as a Teaching Tool", 3. "Skills of Teach ing", 4. "Older Youth Look at 4-H". The program 'ilso includes a panel discussion and guest speakers. Morrow and Uma tilla cojnties are responsible for project displays. If you can take one, call Don Stan gel at the Extension Office, 675-5042.
