The program opened with the choir directed by Mm. Harry No. bkt singing "Joy To Tito World", with the congregation Joining In the last two ven.es. The Father's Gift" was nar led by Pam Daniels, with Bi ble reading by Jerry Donovan. Christmas Ee waa welted by the beginners class. God'a Gold Star waa wad by Bruce Russell. Next was an organplano duet. "There's A Song In The Air", by Mrs. Everett Struekmcler and Mrs. Frank Marlow. The Mess, age of the Christmas Star by the Junior class and sung "For Cod So Loved The World." The choir then sang "Oh Come. All Ye Faithful." The Son's Gift", narrated by Pitm Daniels, and another Bible Reading by Jerry' Donovan was followed by 'The Cwt Of Ills Girt" by the Junior class, and a song, "Jesus, Wonderful Lord", by Mrs. Stan Rauch and Mrs. Noble. The Value Of His Gift was given by the primary class, and song "He Gave Himself", by Jody and Jerita Noble. The third part of the program, "My Gift", was again narrated by Tarn Daniels, and Bible God Knows, He Loves, He Cares Nothing this truth can dim. He Gives the very best to those Who leave the choice to Him. Grange Holiday Greenfield Grange met Satur day afternoon at the hall and. held their annual Christmas party following the meeting Hostesses were Mrs. Donald Ba ker and Mrs. Chub Warren. Doe in the resignation of Mrs Roy Ball as secretary. M- B'11 Bates was elected to that office after resigning as lady assist ant steward. Mrs. Nathan Thorpe was lected lauy assistant stew ard. Master Nathan Thorpe In stalled them, as well as the fol lowinir officers: Mrs. Arthur All en, treasurer; Arthur Allen, and Anna Warren to the executive committee. Mrs. Warren, Allen and Hazel Miller were apKInted on the au ditinc committee. Due to the state dues being raised and other expenses it was voted to raise the annual dues to 510 a year per member. - jrc v . Flection of Mate officer wai held. The pancake feed which the men were to host was postpon ed until the February meeting. At the Christmas party Hazel Carpenter was In charge of the eift exchange. Zoe Billings. Su san Campttell, Mrs. Dennis Fa lettl, Connie Clough and Mrs. Dennis Gronqulst. the latter of Arlington. A cocktail hour was held from 6:30 to 7:30. then a planned (H)tluck dinner. Carnation Sisters were revealed with exchange of gifts and new names drawn for next year. The balance of the evening was sjH-nt playing bingo. The Meyer's have been residents at Boardman for the past lour years while he was stationed at the Boardman Bombing Kange. The senior choir sang: "Do You Hear What I Hear", "Mary Had A Baby", "Building A Snowman With You". "The Lit tle Drummer Boy", "Written In De Holy Book" and "Oh. What A Wonder." The lleppner and Lex ington Christian Churches' com bined choirs, about 25 voices, presented John IVWriKiii's lHe ly cantata "The Night the Ang els Sang." Andrew Johnson rend the narration, Mrs. Betty Marquatdt accompanied the choirs which were directed by Per Walthln sen. Soloists were Mrs. Kathryn Ho Wins, CarliU Marquardt and Mrs. Nora Bellamy. A rather small audience heard the cantata at 3:00 at Lexing ton, and a larger group had that delightful experience at 7:30 at the lleppner Church. Children Perform ot Methodist At the Methodist Church the Sunday School students and members of the children's chor us were supported and abetted by organist Mrs. Pauline Miller and the regular choir under the DRAWN BY RITA w - witxt - vxdrixwwtww& direction of Mrs. Ruth MaatU. The narration of the program was written by Rev. Edwin Cut ting. The children speaking and singing were trained by Mrs, Ann Griffith.
