He cou id nt find the chimney so he used the door much to the delight of everyone. He gave all those present oranges and pop corn balls. 1 The evening started with a pot luck supper followed by the program. I he program by Airs. KImcr Palmer featured talent by both adult members and children. A trio with Craig Cutting at the piano, flrace and Owen Drake on alto and so prano melodicas played Little Town of Bethlehem. The audi- nee joined in singing with hem. Johnnv Stevens master fully and nonchalantly sang Jolly Old St. .Nicholas", ac companied by his sister JoJean. Later JoJean played as a piano solo. "Wo Three Kings" and a- gain later .she ushered in Santa Claus with Jingle Bells. Rev. Fd Cuttir.g. Mrs. Cutting. Frieda Slooum aiid Mrs. Bob Stevens acted in a skit "How Ome Christmas". The Arnold Raymond family sang "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" and "Deck the Halls with Bows of Holly". During the final chorus, Jennifer, Susan and Phillip presented the ladies Irrigation Meet Coming, January with holly corsages. Two piano solas were enjoy- ca. Owen Drake played "White Christmas" and Craig Cutting piayea "Yuletide". Four year old Shawn Mallory went to the piano arranged his music and then "played" his piano accom paniment while he sang "Santa Claus Ls Coming to Town". The discussion on ground wa ter will be led by Bill Barthol omew, Ground Water Geologist from the State Engineer's Of fice. 1 Gene Nelson, OSU Extension Ag Economist, will discuss the economics of irrigated agricul ture in our area with emphasis on the cost pf owning, operating and maintaining automatic ir rigation systems.
