The Wests Return Mr. and Mrs. Dewey West, Jr., have returned . home from a 17 day trip through Nevada, Utah Arizona, Mexico and California. Mr. and Mrs. John Walker of Salem accompanied them. They went first to Itcno, Virginia City and Zion National Taik, then through Death Valley, and vis ited Scully's Castle, Hoover Dam find on to Las Vcas where they saw the Jimmy Dean show. They also saw the Grand Canyon, then went to Flagstaff, Phoenix and Yuma. From there they went to Mexieuli, Mexico, and hack to Calexii'o, Calif,, San Di ego, and visited San Juan Cap istrano and Disneyland, and trom there home. The 3 12 barge U pushed by The Sioux, a 110 bad tug boat. and can haul C..VK) ton of wheat. The barge went through the lock at Mc Nary Dam Monday, Nov. 1. It destination up river, was Cent ral Ferry on the Snake River. A steady run is being planned to Lm Angeles and to Honolulu, and will bypass striking long shoremen.
