Irrigon Council Acts By FRANCES HOSE WILSON IKKIGON The Irrigon Council look action in the October meet ing to file an intent application with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for funds to assist In developing n zoning ordinance for Irrigon. A land use planning study, made by Ko.lovski and Associ ates, of Lake Oswego, several years ago, resulted in a com prehensive plan for the commu nity, which was adopted by the Planning Commission and the council but was not implement ed by an ordinance. Because of new laws governing zoning the City must be either zoned or in the process of accomplishing it by Jan. 1, 1971.
