Boys and girls of all ages who have been participating In the golf program throughout the year will - compete. Come on kids let's all play! A potluck community dinner was held last Monday night at the Camp 5 Community Hall snonsored by the Camp 5 Wom en's Club. Following the dinner, a fire drill supervised by Milo Prindle, was held where all fire equipment was explained and demonstrated. Those attending the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Denzil White, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Todd, Mr. and Mrs. Ray O'Neall, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Norris, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Sharp, Mr. and Ms. Herschel Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Dunlap and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Lucas. Ray O'Neall and Marvin Lu cas took Mrs. Lucas to Heppner last Tuesday for treatment of injuries received when she fell off a horse. She was brought home the next day by Mrs. Ray O'Neall. Card Club Meets Mrs. Doris Stubblefield was the hostess last Wednesday night when the pinochle club met at the Camp 5 Community Hall. High went to Rase Merry Nelson, low to Rose Hardwick, and pinochles to Wanda Dunlap and Becky Wright. Others play ing were Pat Van Arsdale. Mrs. Clarence Woods and son Max and George Saddler were in The Dalles Wednesday oh business. Mr. and Mrs. Harold William- ion brought their trailer to Kin zua last Monday from PrinevlUe where they had been living for some time. Miss Nannette Carey, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Carey, is spending these two weeks at Richland, Wn., where she Is vis iting with grandparents and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Eversole and family left last Friday eve ning on their vacation which will take them to Missoula, Mont, Lander, Wyo., and Burley, Idaho. Mrs. Troy Day and family, Mark Sargent, and Mrs. Larry O'Neall and son Chad went to Heppner Friday on business and to return Mark to his home there. : Mrs. Robert Kelso and Mrs. Dannie! Mike Todd worked last Satur day for Frank Anderson of May ville and then in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Mike Todd and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas went to Rufus to visit the Ken neth Todds. Others there were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barton of Los Alamitos, Calif., Clifford Todd of Gresham, Russell Gey ser of Tigard and Gloria Gill and children of Portland. On Sunday, the Thomas' attended a 1966 class reunion at DeMoss Springs Park at Moro. Shirley Heidenger of PortJand and Donna Rogers of Lonerock visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blue. Mr. and Mrs. Les Malloroy and son spent this past week at Spokane where Les bad a medical checkup. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Muizy went to Portland Sunday from where Mrs. Muzzy flew to Port Angeles, Wash., where she will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kee gan.
