Sat urday morning, tho two famil ies drove to Seattle, where they attended the wedding of Bar bara Sue Jancura and John Carlson at Magnolia Presbyter Ian Church. The bride Is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Berry, former residents of this area. Mr. and Mrs. Benny McCoy drove to Everett, Wash., where they stayed overnight with their win and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Terry McCoy. On Sat urday the two couples drove to Seattle. Wn., where they also at tended the wedding of Barbara Sue Jancura and John Carlson. Diabetes Clinic In Spring with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ed wards. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Muzzy and family of Portland spent the weekend visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Muzzy. Mr. and Mrs. Arlet Campbell and Andrea went to Bend Fri day night to spend the week end visiting relatives and doing some hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Palmer and family of Eugene spent the first part of the week visiting Mrs. Palmer's parents, Pastor and Mrs. William Mai. Christy Palm er remained to visit with her grandparents for a while. Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Grey and family of Springfield were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rich ard Lynch. Friendship Club The Friendship Club was en tertained Wednesday night at the grade school with Sharon Smiley as hostess. High was won by Sharon Bell with Roberta Conlee capturing second high. The pinochles went to Deena Reld and Sharon Bell. Others playing were Rose Merry Nel son, Becky Wright, Cindl Weas or, Patsy McMinn, Dinah Jack son, Melba Mitchell, Sue Mat tLson, and Carol Norrls. Mrs. Earl Norrls went to Hepp ner Thursday to bring home Mr. Norrls who had been a patient at the Pioneer Memorial Hospi tal. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Jones and Bobby were business visitors to Heppner Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Norrls went to Prlneville Friday where Car ol had dental work done. Spending the weekend with the Denzil White and Mike Todd families were Mr. and Mrs. Den zil White, Jr. and family of Gresham, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ah nert and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Archibald of Es tacada. Mrs. Dean Wimer, Kevin and Penny went to Portland Mon day whore Tenny will have medical care. They will all vis it with Mrs. Mable Dunn in Canby. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hardwlck and Donny were business visit ors to Portland on Friday and also visited with Genlne Hard wlck who Is attending Business College. Kai Warming of Springfield was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Warming and family. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cantrall of Grass Valley spent Thursday and Friday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Kendrick Dunlap. Then ar riving for the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dunlap and fam ily of Grass Valley and Judy Eakln of Gresham. Mrs. Raymond Reld and D Rina spent the weekend assist lne her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Sinclair, in their move from Spray to Caldwell, Idaho. II now appears that one will be given here in the spring. Exten sion members will be asked to help with advertising and other ways as needed. A very successful Diabetes Clinic was reported In Umatilla County last week with Extension assisting.
