Monument School Ho$ Reunion A poUuck Picnic made a wonderful opportunity for the reunion of eraduates, teachers, and minelnals of Monument High School, on Saturday, June 30 at the Monument Park. Peo ple arrived from as far north as Seattle to as far south as Med ford. Many local people attend ed. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. Plrl Howell, Mrs. Clayton Sweck, Mrs. Harold Wright. Mr. Mr. and Mrs. Ray and uon Jimmle motored to Portland last Friday to take their daugh ter Barbara to scnooi. ouruaiu, a 70 graduate of Heppner High j,h,i i onmlled at Western Business University where she began studying an airline sec retarial course last Monday. She will be staying at the Viking Dormitory. Before returning the family visited with Mr. Boycc's sister, Mrs. James Dameron of Portland. and Mrs. Stanley Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Steers, Mrs. Lenna Kelly and her son-in-law and daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Creston Robin son, and Mr. and Mrs. Barton Clark. Mr. Clark was a former principal at Monument High. Pictures were taken of the all ferent classes and several awards made. The class of '41 received the award for the most members present, with six classmates attending.
