Mrs. Molly Saul of Pen dleton, area Extension Agent for Morrow and Umatilla counties, conducted the meeting. Officers elected were: Mrs. Afelvln Allyn, chairman; Mrs. Kenneth Broadbent, vice-chairman; Mrs. Jerry Meinicke, secretary-treasurer. The officers met later in the week to make plans for the next meeting. It will be October 23 at the 4-H building. Final plans were made for the Flower Show and Silver Tea the club was to have September 24 at the Greenfield Grange hall from 2-4 p.m. It was voted to also have a table of artificial arrangements. Mrs. Rollin Bishop read an ar ticle on the care and planting of bulbs, and treating them for disease, also when to dig them. She also presented an article on Queen Anne's Lace. Mrs. Arthur Allen and Mrs. Hayes won prizes in a game, and Mrs. Frank Marlow receiv ed the door prize.
