Home Extension Unit Is Reorganized

BOARDMAN Thirty women
met at the 4-H building here
Tuesday evening of last week
to reorganize the Boardman
Home Extension Unit which had
been disbanded for several
years. Mrs. Molly Saul of Pen
dleton, area Extension Agent for
Morrow and Umatilla counties,
conducted the meeting.
Officers elected were: Mrs.
Afelvln Allyn, chairman; Mrs.
Kenneth Broadbent, vice-chairman;
Mrs. Jerry Meinicke, secretary-treasurer.
The officers met
later in the week to make plans
for the next meeting. It will be
October 23 at the 4-H building.
Subject will be "Freezing pre
pared and precooked foods"
with Mrs. Rollo Moore and Mrs.
Meinicke as leaders.

of bulbs, and treating them for
disease, also when to dig them.
She also presented an article on
Queen Anne's Lace.
Mrs. Arthur Allen and Mrs.
Hayes won prizes in a game,
and Mrs. Frank Marlow receiv
ed the door prize.
The next meeting will be at
the home of Mrs, Hayes Octo
ber 20 at 8 p.m.
