They recently bought the home of Mrs. R. B. Rice, and since It came fur nished, they had twice their needs In household goods. They listed the goods In the classified ad, and they were surprised with the results. Follensbee called early Tues day morning to be sure the ad wasn't run again. Every thing was sold. The sale wasn't to one buyer, but to a number of different buyers who responded. "It really brought results," Follensbee said. Another satisfied customer who came to the office Tues day was Dean Long of Herm Iston Cycle Shop. He inserted a two-inch display ad to run until further notice. Last time he ran an ad in the Gazette-Times, he said, he had an Immediate response from the people of Heppner. There Is no bicycle repair shop here. "It really brought us busi ness," Long said. Pfc. Hoffman, Route 1, Boardman, completed an elec trical accounting machine re pairman course July 21 at the Army Signal School, Ft. Mon mouth, N. J.
