Soroptimists Host Annual Senior Tea For Girls, Mothers Senior girls and their mothers were guests of the Soropttmlst Club of Heppner at its annual Senior Girls" Tea. held at the home of Mrs. Wavol Wilkinson on Sundav afternoon. May 22. Decorations on the attractive refreshment table carried out the senior class colors of vol 'ow ami white. Special favors for the irirls included small "worry birds" made of teasel, and col ored polaroid pictures of girU with their mothers. Tom Raw lins, a Heppner senior, took care of the photography. Piano background music by Mrs. Ola Mae Groshens provid ed entertainment during the afternoon. Also attending wore some of the high school faculty women and wives of men faculty members. Hastings Return From Trip South Mr. and Mrs. Carey Hastings rerturned last Wednesday from a two week vacation trip to San Antonio, Texas, where they were guests of their son In law and daughter, Mr- and Mrs. H b. Henry and children. Hank and Joyce. They traveled by Jet plane. Some of their sight seeing plans were interrupted when complications of a bad coM forc ed Mr. Hastings to visit the doc tor for medication.
