Darcie fell striking her head on the coffee table, eaus ing a deep cut in her forehead. The wound required eight stitch es by a physician in Heppner. Mr. and Mrs. Vint Marick and soa Tom. of Parkdale spent from Wednesday to Sunday vis iting with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne White arrived on Tuesday from Santa Monica, Calif- to visit his moth er. Mrs. Edythe White, and brothers, Dale and Gordon White. They left on Friday to continue their vacation after visiting here and in Heppner with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Heimbigner and family of Yakima spent Sunday with his brother and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heim bigner, at McNary Yacht Club. Tom Heimbigner spent the week-end visiting . his sister, Linda, and friends at Eugene. Frank Wiley, son of Mrs. Tom Sweeney, has enlisted in the United States Marines and left recently for Camp Pendleton for basic training. Mr. and Mrs. E. R- Schaffer drove to Prosser Sunday, where they met their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Clerf and family of Kittitas, Wash. They took Judy and Peg gy Clerf, who have been visit ing here, to meet their parents and brought home another grandchild, Jack Clerf, who will remain until after harvest Susan Jane Jepsen also accompanied them and went on to Kittitas to visit with Mary Beth Clerf. Mrs. Louis Carlson drove to Tollgate on Saturday to . bring home her daughter, Sandra, al so Barbara Boyce and Kristine Peterson, who had been attend ing the junior camp at Luther Crest Bible Camp for a week.
