Delbert Car pentcr of Boardman, and the groom I the aon of Mi, and Mrs. Gene Stone of Heppner. The candlelight service was per formed bv Kcv. Herman R. Burg, pastor of the rhuxch. In a set ting of bankets of pink and white gladioli. Mr. LaVern Partlow sanir "Always" and "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Carolyn Burg, who also played the nup tial music. The bride, given In marriage by her father, wore a gown of bridal satin and Chnntilly lace, fashioned with round neck and long sleeves, and a chapel length train which was carried by Annie Carpenter of Umatilla, niece of the bride. The veil was elbow length and was held In place by a headpiece of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of gardenias and red rosebuds, and wore the traditional blue garter. Miss Dcwena West was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Larry Carpenter of Kenton. After the first traditional piece or cake was cut by the couple It was served bv Mrs. Careen ter and Mrs. Cecil Hamilton. Mrs. Roy Partlow served the cof fee, and Mrs. LaVern Partlow was at the punch bowl. Mrs. Larry Carpenter, Mrs. Marvin Carpenter and Judy Burr were In charge of the gift table, and Mrs. Orvllle Carpenter of Uma 1 111a. aunt of the bride, had the guest book. Others assisting with the re ceptlon included Mrs. Ronald Black, Mrs. Dewey West, Mrs. Zoe Billings, Mrs. Kollin Bishop, Mrs. Earl McQuaw anad Mrs. Walter Hayes. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Carpenter wore a drcsa of ilowered Jersey with white ac cessories. The bridegroom's mother wore flowered crepe with white accessories. Both had cor sages of gardenias and white carnations. The couple Is at home on the Dick Wilkinson ranch at Hepp ner. where the groom is employed. Vacationers Visit At Thomson Home Mrs. Tom Walters (the form er Meridith Thomson) and two-year-old son. Rusty, arrived Fri day for a two weeks visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thomson. They are vacationing here from their home In Canoga Parks Calif., while Mr. Walters, a pharmacist, is on two weeks active duty at Long Beach with the Coast Guard. Also at home this week is Miss Bernice Thomson, on vaca tion from her work In Portland.
