The bride, given In marriage
by her father, wore a gown of
bridal satin and Chnntilly lace,
fashioned with round neck and
long sleeves, and a chapel
length train which was carried
by Annie Carpenter of Umatilla,
niece of the bride. The veil was
elbow length and was held In
place by a headpiece of seed
pearls. She carried a bouquet of
gardenias and red rosebuds, and
wore the traditional blue garter.
Miss Dcwena West was maid
of honor, and bridesmaids were
Mrs. Larry Carpenter of Kenton.

Vacationers Visit
At Thomson Home
Mrs. Tom Walters (the form
er Meridith Thomson) and two-year-old
son. Rusty, arrived Fri
day for a two weeks visit at the
home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Thomson.
They are vacationing here
from their home In Canoga
Parks Calif., while Mr. Walters,
a pharmacist, is on two weeks
active duty at Long Beach with
the Coast Guard.
Also at home this week is
Miss Bernice Thomson, on vaca
tion from her work In Portland.
Mrs. Thomson, who is taking a
summer school course in Port
land, is expected home this
week-end for a visit with her
