Driscoll to Make Second Journey To State Meet It's on to state for the second time this year for Heppner High school track star Tim Driscoll as he heads for Corvallis and the Oregon High school Track and Field championships this Friday Driscoll was on the Mustang basketball team that traveled to the state tourney and makes his sceond trio bv virtue of a win in the District 7-A-2 track meet held at Burns Saturday. Driscoll seemed well healed after a sore knee kept bim from a first place finish at the subdistrict meet a week earlier. A strong wind slowed times and Driscoll's time was his slow est time of the season, 2: 07.7. The Heppner team finished eiehth in the nine-team field with 22 points. Tim Smith was third in the mile, Jim Jacobs was sixth in shotput, and David Hall was sixth in high hurdles, all short of qualifying for state. Qualifiers for the state meet: High hurdles: David Barnett, Burns, 15.8; Terry. Aschenbren ner, Enterprise, 16.0.
