August 2. Friends are asked to come and extend their greetings to Mrs. Bartholomew between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m., and that no gifts be brought. Mrs. Bartholomew, the former Phebe Thomson, was born and raised on the ranch home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Thomson, who settled on a homestead on Butter Creek in September, 1863. She has led a very active life and continues to be in excellent health, en dearlng herself through the years to many iricnds in Mor row county.
