Kenneys Honored On Anniversary At Partlow Home (Held over from last week) By Mrs. ALBERT PARTLOW IRRIGON Rev. and Mrs. John H. Kenney were honored on their 35th Wedding Anniversary with an anniversary party held in the nome oi Mr. and Mrs. Albert Partlow. The coral color-scheme was carried out in the room dec oration and in the tiered anni versary cake. A Christmas tree covered with coral miniatures lights was fur nished by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Warner. Miss Sharon Olsen serv ed coffee, Mrs. Albert Partlow cut tne anniversary cake, and Miss uonna isom presided at the punch bowl. A money-tree was featured in lieu of gifts. Out of town guests were Mrs. Kenney's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Buchan an and son Dan of Seattle, Mrs. James Mills, Steve, Ricky and Kanay, Mrs. uorotny Hayden, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Rayburn of Hermiston, Ted Krause of Stan- field, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown ing and Miss Sharon Olson of Umatilla. Rev. and Mrs. Ken ney's son, John, was present, and their other children, David and Mary, both attend Southern Calif. College in Costa Mesa, calif. Cemetery Move Completed Contractors have comple ted the moving of the Irrigon ceme tery, necessitated by the build ing of the John-Day Dam, to the new site just east of town. The pump-house is completed, and a cyclone fence has been erected completely around the 5-acre plot of ground. The sprinkling system will soon be installed. Bronze markers have been sup plied for all the unmarked graves. The work was completed Friday. A group of relatives, and form er classmates of Mrs. Dave Kahl, nee June Goodwin, gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Goodwin, Margaret and Jeanne, in Hermiston Sunday afternoon. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Al Goodwin, and Gary, Mr. and Mrs. James Mills, Ricky, Randy and Steve, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Watson and Miss Snow Mc Coy, all of Hermiston, Mr. and Mrs. Russell McCoy of Vancou ver, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Dave Kahl of Eagle Point, Mrs. Albert Partlow and Sheryl and Mrs. Myrtle Markham of Irrigon. The Pummel children, cousins of the bride, participated in the wedding, with Anita presiding over the guest book, Donna Kay as a jun ior-bridesmaid, and Darrel as a junior-usher. Robin and Glenn Schmeder served as cand 1 e lighters. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sanders spent Christmas with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Forney and ba b y daughter Kelley Lee, in Arling ton. Miss Clara Fay Coy, junior at Central Pilgrim College in Bart lesville, Okla., spent Christmas vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Coy. Miss Coy also took in the mid-winter youth conference of the Pilgrim church which was held at Ken newick Wednesday through Fri day She returned to college Jan uary 1. Other college students home for Christmas vacation were Misses Sandra Creamer and Ann Schmeder, freshmen at Eastern Oregon College of Education and Howard Keith, freshman at Ore gon State University. Mr. and Mrs. James C. Shoun and Raylene Sherman of Pendle ton, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shoun and son Steven of Walla Walla visited with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Shoun Sunday. Steven Shoun is a student at Pullman College. Tne group also visited at the Dean Acock residence. Mrs. Louella Sherman and daughter Raelene and Mr. and Mrs. James C. Shoun of Pendle ton were guests of the Dean Acocks Tuesday, Christmas Day. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Senn of Northeast, Maryland, are parents of a baby boy, Brian, born Dec ember 26, and weighing 7 lb. Senn, a former Irrigon resident, is attending Northeast College. Mrs. Sedelia Dexter spent the week-end in La Grande visiting her con and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vallls Dexter and family. She rode over and back with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hobbs and family, who also visited in La Grande and in North Powder.
