Some of the things that the women are dis cussing and planning include the Homemaker Festival, May 15, at the Catholic Parish hall, Heppner. Pine City and Lena Units will be hostesses. The theme of our festival is "A Look At Me." Our speaker will be Mrs. Roberta Fraiser, OSU family life specialist, who will tniir nn thp thpme and develop the points on "How well do I understand other members of my family?" This will be a luncheon-type festival. St. Patrick's Altar Soc iety will serve the $1.25 luncheon at noon. They would like a count of the women who plan to at tend so purchase your tickets from your county committee woman at the April meeting or the county agent's office not la ter than May 10. Holders of these green tickets will be seated first. Anyone purchasing a luncheon ticket that day will receive a yellow ticket which means they will have to wait till the others are served. It will be to your advantage to purchase your ticket in advance. Exhibits Each unit is asked to put up a display exhibit illustrating one of the projects studied this past year. We will use the ante rooms off the main hall for these displays. Hobby Display A special room will be set aside for display of hobbies. If any women have hobbies (along the homemaker line) we invite them to display them. Each unit will be responsible for their own display. Registration and Tickets Registration will be at one or two tables this year. Luncheon tickets will be sold at another. Pine City and Lena will take care of this. Child Care Pine City Unit is making ar- rnnmomonte with thp HeDDner High school for child care in the Catholic Church basement, (right behind the parish hall). They will keep any age child, but discourage tiny babies. The charge will be 50e for the first child and 25c for each additional child in the family. The units will absorb the difference. Each child brings his own sack lunch. Milk will be furnished. Installation of Officers We plan to have the instal lation of unit officers and new rounty committee women at 11:30 A. M. on Festival day. This will be right before the luncheon. Fair Booth Workshop Dwight Fairbanks, OSU visual aids specialist, will be at the Heppner fair annex at 10:30 a. m. April 24, to conduct another workshop on fair booths, home makers displays, 4-H windows, etc. We especially urge each unit to send the women who will be planning your homemaker fes- livol rlii-nlatr TVTiirlo Qfinloo OfTT State Extension agent, says you can surely see the difference in Jim Myers Offers Spring Bargains rf S7 Reg. $1.59 A 1 Special $1.29 Special Special MuOill Hair Spray Reg. 59c obbtira Akobo 25c (FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ONLY) V it VDfALL FOR I 8 PC.
