They had invited guests in for a clam din ner when some of the lights went out in the kitchen. Of course, it had. to be one over the stove, so they called the guests, Dr. and Helen Schaffitz and Jim and Mary Ellen Myers, to tell them dinner would be late. Thanks to neighbor and electrician Henry Stroeber, the difficulties were corrected. All went well until Jack decided to build a fire in the fireplace! Nothin' but smoke!
