I amine Matheny and Donna McCurdy were hostesses at the MeCurdy home. They serv ed coffee and cookies to the guests as they visited with May during the afternoon. Friends attending were Betty Glmbel, Beth Van Scholack, Edna Fetsch, Dee Cribble, Marge Gardner. Ro berta Dougherty, Mary Ellen Myers, Jae Flatt, Nadine O'Brien and Sandy Robinson. May and her family left Saturday for their nome in Toledo. o o o FRIDAY EVENING Cher! Hart man was treated to a Pizza farewell party at the Joe Hartle home with Shirley Carlson as hostess. Students present for the occasion were Jim Steagall. Bob Davidson, Diane MeCurdy, Bruce Moyer, anara Klchards, LeRoy Gardner, Shan Applegate, and Dick Springer. o o o LATER FRIDAY evening the jun on behalf of the Junior class le freshments of chips and dips and pop were served during the dan- ring party, i guos cneri was really surprised, she doesn' answer by name too well! o o o WHEN TALKING to Shirley Cox anout ner parents weeding an nlversarv, she said the wedding cake was still In Walla Walla! It seems each of Shirley's sis ters thought the other was going to bring it over, due to a mix-up of the bakery Instructions! Oh well, they had five pies and seven cakis. plenty to celebrate the anniversary and daughter Clintas birthday. o o o BILLY WOLFF, son of Mrs. W, H. Wolff, celebrated his 10th birthday with a sandwich sup per and blrthdav cake at his home November 19. Boys present for fun and good things to eat with Billy were Robbie Abrams, Kevin Dick, LaVerne Van Marter, Philip Ayres. Bill Greenup. Tom my Cleveland. Matthew Murray, Bobby Peck. Shelley, Kelley, and Tommy woiri. o o o ANOTHER 10-yearold, Robbie Abrams, celebrated his birth day with a dinner for the boys and a movie at the theater, icob ble, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Abrams, had as guests. Bill Greenup, Billy Wolff, Johnny Johnston, LaVerne Van Marter, Kevin Dick, and Matthew Mur ray. o o o SUNDAY AFTERNOON bridge at the tlks drew six and one-half tables in play which followed the family dinnei of roast beer. Win ners were Conley and VI Lan ham, high for north-south. Isa belle Davis, Condon, and Helen Lindsay, Hermlston, were second. Laurel Van Marter and Gordon Pratt were high east-west with Ed and Rachel Dick second. o o MEXICAN menu was the treat for the Greenup's elk hunting LORA LKE Stotts entertained larg group of eighth grad friends with a party at the Tee Club Friday night. They enjoyed game, dancing and refresh, men!. l!jy Junes won the door prie. Chaperone were Mr. and Mrs. Ilftirv Stutt. The children were treaied t free tickets to the mo ie while the parents were en terttilncd at the lodge. o o o KENNY AND Sharon Cutsforth were honored at their new home on Willow Creek with a houseu arming party Saturday night. They were given three bronze kes for their fireplace wall. Guests were Ken and Jean Ann Turner, Fritz and Janice Cutsforth. Pat and Karen Cuts forth, Jimmy Karlene Miller, John and Mickey Mollahan, Bob and Vesta Cutsforth. They enjoy ed an evening of cards, visiting and refreshments.
