a coffee and handkerchief
going away party last Tuesday

at the MeCurdy home. They serv
ed coffee and cookies to the
guests as they visited with May
during the afternoon. Friends

her family left Saturday for their

Dick Springer.

It seems each of Shirley's sis

of the bakery Instructions! Oh
well, they had five pies and
seven cakis. plenty to celebrate

Add milk mixture, mix with
spoon, continue mixing with
hands until all crumbs are mois
tened. Lino with waxed paper, a
5-cup loaf or tube pan, and press
mixture firmly into place. Dec
orate top with additional nuts
and fruits, cover tightly and chill
for two days before slicing. Keep
refrigerated. Makes one 2Y id.

Christmas Program
A different kind of Christmas
program is planned for the meet-
ng of the Lcxtneton Co-op Bid
dies on Monday, December 4, at
l.'Mi p. m. at the Lexington city
hall. F.ath member Is asked to
bring a favorite Christmas recipe
and with it a sample of the
finished product to share with
the others.
Reports will be given on the
recent Hen House Fair In Port
land, and members will work
on their unfinished projects.
